What does Monadex do?
We design, build, and operate AI-powered photo and interactive installations for retail spaces, brand activations, and large-scale events. Every system is engineered to drive engagement, increase footfall, and generate measurable on-site revenue.
Where is Monadex based?
Monadex Technology Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore company, headquartered in Singapore. Its booths run for customers in 30+ countries, and it runs its own unattended booths in Singapore every day.
How are Monadex, Chalkak Studio and Chalkak Collective related?
Both are Monadex brands. Chalkak Studio sells Monadex's Korean-style photobooth machines to businesses worldwide (chalkak-studio.com). Chalkak Collective is Asia's first photobooth museum, run by Monadex in Singapore (chalkak-collective.com).
Can I buy a photobooth machine from Monadex?
Yes. There are 9+ booth and kiosk models, including standard, high angle, low angle, portable and kiosk models, with your own branding. Machines are sold through Chalkak Studio, shipped with duties paid, set up remotely and supported by our engineers.
What software runs Monadex photobooths?
Monadex Kiosk OS runs each booth: camera, screens, payment, print and QR. Monadex Fleet Cloud runs the fleet: live status, prices, frames, over-the-air updates and sales from one dashboard. Booths use a Canon camera, a DNP dye-sublimation printer, and NETS or Nayax payments.
What kinds of experiences can you build?
Photo booths, smart mirrors, AI-generated portraits, projection mapping, projection domes, RFID interactive displays, interactive walls, mixed-reality headset experiences, and AI-powered movie and game installations, all customisable to your brand.
Where do you operate?
Our booths run for customers in 30+ countries across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, the Americas and Oceania. Each booth keeps working offline and syncs when it reconnects.
What is the Monadex Stack?
Our proprietary system philosophy and software platform, covering hardware abstraction, real-time control, fleet management, OTA updates, hardware-level security, and self-healing reliability. It's what lets our own booths in Singapore run unattended day after day.
How long does it take to deploy a custom experience?
Standard photo booth and brand activation deployments typically launch within 4–8 weeks of brief approval. Larger custom installations vary based on hardware, venue, and creative scope, we share a detailed timeline after the initial discovery call.
Do you offer rentals or only permanent installations?
Both. We support short-term event activations, longer brand campaigns, and permanent revenue-share installations in retail and entertainment venues. We can also build fully bespoke installations for your space.
What kind of support do you provide after launch?
Every connected booth is monitored automatically, and alerts reach our engineers straight away. Support hours are Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm Singapore time; live events get an on-site crew for the whole event.
Can we customise the photos and experience to our brand?
Yes, every visual element is brand-customisable: filters, frames, AI styles, on-screen UI, interactive flows, and physical photo outputs (lenticular, magnetic, mini-strip, newspaper, trading cards). Our creative team handles the integration end to end.
How do you handle data privacy and image rights?
Guests opt in before capture. Media is encrypted in storage and deleted on the schedule you set. We configure consent screens and retention to meet PDPA, GDPR or CCPA for your event. Security certifications for the hosting belong to our cloud providers; Monadex is not separately certified.
