What the deployment demands
Late night trade is the hardest test a booth gets. Users arrive in groups, often after drinking, with no staff on hand to explain anything, and they will not read instructions. Everything therefore rests on an interface that can be understood in seconds and hardware that does not jam at two in the morning. Get that right and the reward is a customer segment nobody else is serving at that hour, in a town where the student population renews itself every year.
