What the deployment demands
Shiya explains the appeal better than most of the industry does. Coverage keeps returning to the same point: there is no photographer in the room. Customers who freeze up when someone is directing them will happily spend thirty minutes shooting themselves. That reframes the product away from photography and towards comfort and control, which is a far easier thing to sell to people who do not think of themselves as photogenic. It is the single most reusable line of argument found anywhere in this research.
